Report: Phil Hughes To Join Twins Rotation

The Twins and pitcher Phil Hughes have agreed to a three-year, $24M deal, according to a Minneapolis Star-Tribune report.

Hughes is the second free agent to agree to join the Twins' rotation this week, joining Ricky Nolasco, who agreed with the team on Wednesday, a baseball source confirmed.

In seven seasons with the Yankees, Hughes went 56-50 with a 4.54 ERA.

Ryan Vogelsong is staying with the Giants, agreeing to terms on a one-year deal Friday, according to an ESPN.com report.

Vogelsong went 4-6 with a 5.73 ERA in 19 starts and 103 2/3 innings during an injury-shortened 2013 season.

Dan Haren Agrees To Join Dodgers

Dan Haren and the Dodgers have agreed to a one-year deal worth $10M, according to FOXSports.com. 

The deal, which reportedly includes a 2015 option that vests at 180 innings pitched, is contingent on the right-hander passing a physical.

Haren had expressed his desire to pitch on the West Coast after spending one season with the Nationals, where he went 10-14 with a 4.67 ERA.

Peralta is a two-time All-Star and .268 career hitter with 156 home runs in 11 seasons with the Indians and Tigers.

Rangers To Re-Sign Colby Lewis

The Rangers have agreed to terms with right-handed pitcher Colby Lewis on a minor league deal with an invitation to spring training, according to an ESPN.com report on Saturday.

If Lewis makes the major league team, he'll make $2M in base salary and can earn up to another $4M in incentives.

Lewis hasn't pitched since the midway though the 2012 season. He had surgery to repair a torn flexor in his elbow and during this past season had hip surgery.

Giants Reach $13M Contract With Javier Lopez

The San Francisco Giants have agreed on a three-year, $13 million deal with keep Javier Lopez in their bullpen.

The deal is pending a physical. The left-hander has won a pair of World Series title with the Giants.

"I am happy to be back in San Francisco. It's the place that my family and I have come to love," Lopez wrote in an e-mail.

"The Giants organization has been first class since I was first traded in 2010. The fans especially have been welcoming not only to me but all of my teammates and their support is unmatched in the major leagues. They make for a wonderful place to come and work."
